Table tennis has been included in the Summer Olympic Games since 1988, with events for men's and women's singles and doubles. Chinese athletes have been exceptionally successful, securing a total of 60 medals across 37 events. Remarkably, they have claimed 32 out of 37 possible gold medals. The only event where they did not win at least one medal was the inaugural Men's Singles event in 1988.
